The ***Incentives Establishment Specialist*** will support the client by providing transition services for GAARNG service members, including eligibility verification, documentation review, payment processing, and system updates. The role ensures timely, accurate, and compliant execution of incentive actions using the Guard Incentive Management System (GIMS). **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** (Not listed in order of importance; other duties may be assigned) and must be able to perform the following with minimal guidance: - Confirm eligibility for incentives (bonuses, loan repayment, etc.) within 3 business days. - Verify required documents and process payments within established timelines. - Maintain accurate GIMS records and ensure compliance with ARNG and DoD regulations. - Provide timely responses to service member inquiries and regular reports to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR). - Conduct outreach events and support audits, reviews, and policy updates. - Recommend process improvements and ensure tax and policy compliance. ## Requirements **Qualifications:** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. - Bachelor’s level degree in Accounting Finance, Economics, or Business Administration required or equivalent experience - 3 years of professional experience in management - Must be a US Citizen able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance for the position - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities - Analytical mindset with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data for the federal government - Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment - Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint; and Adobe Acrobat Professional - Ability to work with various Navy and Marine Corps Systems - Works well in a team environment **Physical Requirements** Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. Possible lifting up to 25 lbs.
