This position works alongside PMCH's implementation partner to test and shape the system before launch, then assumes long-term responsibility for its configuration, data integrity, security, and ongoing evolution. Working as a peer to the Manager of Data & Impact, the Administrator translates program and funder requirements into well-designed system solutions, provides technical escalation support, and serves as PMCH's internal lead on future system integrations. **Essential Functions** - Work with the implementation partner during the Salesforce build, contributing to configuration review, testing, and development decisions; guide user acceptance testing; and assume ownership of the Salesforce org from the implementation partner, including system documentation, configuration knowledge, and open items, establishing the foundation for independent long-term maintenance - Maintain and enhance the production system as business needs evolve, including objects, fields, page layouts, validation rules, and record-triggered flows, testing changes before deployment - Protect the integrity of the system's data model, including relationship design, and ensure point-in-time records such as screenings, assessments, and compliance snapshots are preserved as historical records rather than overwritten - Translate business requirements into technical specifications and system configuration that support program operations and outcome measurement - Build and maintain the technical reporting foundation, including custom report types, complex cross-object reports, and dashboards, that supports program oversight, staff performance, and funder reporting, in partnership with the Manager of Data & Impact - Manage users, profiles, permission sets, and the role hierarchy, ensuring appropriate access across the many distinct programs sharing the system - Monitor data quality and perform data cleanup, imports, and bulk updates as needed using tools such as Data Loader - Serve as the technical escalation point for issues the Salesforce Support Coordinator is unable to resolve, such as automation errors, access problems, and data issues, addressing root causes so recurring issues are resolved at the system level - Collaborate with internal colleagues, implementation partner, and Salesforce support to prioritize system enhancements, new program setups, evolving funder data requirements, and system enhancements, issues, and releases - Serve as internal lead with outside consultants on future system integrations, including evaluating the feasibility of connections to external or funder-mandated systems and coordinating implementation once integration projects are approved **Other Duties** Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice. - Bachelor's degree required, preferrably in information systems, data analytics, business, or a related field - In lieu of a degree, 4 years in a comparable systems or data role required - Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator required; Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator II, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, and Salesforce Certified Platform Developer preferred - 2 years of hands-on Salesforce administration in a live production environment required, including building complex reports and dashboards and modifying a live system in response to changing business requirements - Proficiency in Salesforce Flow Builder (including record-triggered flows and validation rules), custom report types, dashboard configuration, and complex formula fields required - Strong understanding of data model design, including objects, fields, and relationships (e.g., lookup vs. master-detail) and the tradeoffs between them, required - Proficiency in user and permission management, including profiles, permission sets, and role hierarchy, required. - Experience with a Salesforce org shared by multiple teams or business units is preferred - Experience with Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud preferred - Experience participating in a Salesforce implementation alongside a consulting partner (e.g., testing, build review, or taking over an org after launch) preferred - Experience in a nonprofit or multi-program, multi-funder environment preferred - Exposure to system integrations or APIs, particularly integrating Salesforce with electronic health records system (e.g., Athena Health), preferred - Familiarity with connecting Salesforce data to Tableau for reporting and analysis preferred. - Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical colleagues. - Project coordination ability, particularly working alongside outside consultants, required - Experience with data migration and cleanup tools (e.g., Data Loader) and basic SOQL preferred **DEIB Drivers for Success** PMCH aims to foster a workplace culture that prioritizes diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
