If you want to join a team of industry leading experts and who want to create an impact on the future of material handling solutions, we want to hear from you! ## Responsibilities **Position Summary** The Sales Order Pickers picks sales orders by accurately identifying and pulling materials and delivering them to the requested destination. **Responsibilities include but are not limited to:** - Picking parts of various size, shape, and weight according to sales orders - Placing parts carefully in kits to avoid damage. - Delivering part orders to the requested packaging area. - Meeting expectations for number and accuracy of sales orders picked. - May be required to use material handling equipment forklift, stand-up forklift, Big Joe, following all safety rules. - Maintaining safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat and complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. - Reading and maintaining information in the inventory system, ensuring accurate records. - Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures. - Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction. ## Qualifications **Education and Experience Requirements:** - High school diploma or equivalent preferred - Experience operating forklift equipment a plus - Experience with inventory a plus **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:** - Good computer skills - Good verbal communication skills - Ability to read and write English and use basic math. - Good organization skills - Good time management skills - Self-motivated and detail-oriented - Team Oriented - Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language **ADA Requirements:** - **Medium work:** Exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. - **Reaching:** Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction. - **Standing:** Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time. - **Walking:** Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another. - **Lifting:** Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to-position.
