## Description

**Ride Operator – Traders Village Houston (WEEKEND ONLY)**  
**Schedule:** Saturdays & Sundays, 9 AM – Close

**Job Overview:**  
Provide guests especially children with a safe and enjoyable amusement ride experience. This role requires attention to detail, patience, and excellent customer service.  
 

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**

- Maintain ride area in a neat, clean, and orderly manner.

- Follow all ride policies and procedures while operating the ride.

- Stay alert and aware of safety regulations at all times.

- Collect ride tickets and load guests safely, securing all straps, belts, and latches.

- Monitor the ride and guests while the ride is in motion.

- Assist guests off the ride once it comes to a complete stop.

- Perform other work-related duties as assigned.  
 

**QUALIFICATIONS AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**

- Must be at least **17 years old**

- No prior experience necessary — training provided.

- Must complete a two-week ride-training program and pass the written test.

- Must be available to work **every weekend**.

- Ability to lift and push a minimum of **35 lbs**.

- Must be patient with children.

- Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills; bilingual a plus.

- Ability to understand and follow directions.

- Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.

- Must be able to stand for long hours, walk long distances, bend, stoop, and work in both heat and cold.

- Must maintain a positive attitude — you are the face of Traders Village Houston!
