Works collaboratively with Recovery High School Therapist, school personnel, families, and community partners to ensure a holistic, trauma-informed approach to student success. --- **Job Duties:** 1. Share their lived experience with co-occurring &/or substance use and their own personal recovery experience; *when applicable*. 2. Promote the idea and concept of recovery and serve as role model. 3. Interact directly with students, both individually and as a group. 4. Maintain positive attitude toward agency, school and students. 5. Help students create and follow tailored recovery plans that include triggers and setting personal goals. 6. Teach students essential skills such as stress management, emotional regulation, and effective communication. 7. Help students in developing support systems and connect with peer support/self-help groups. 8. Assist students in developing self-care skills to promote recovery (i.e., self-advocacy, coping, social, etc.). 9. Assist staff to understand recovery, the importance of recovery-based services and the value of the experience lived by individuals with co-occurring or substance use. 10. Participate as a member of the clinical team. 11. Responsible for transporting clients in agency and/or personal vehicle as deemed necessary and appropriate to meet program requirements. 12. Provide students' point of view at team meetings and treatment planning meetings. 13.
