## Description

**Job Summary**

The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for completing various types of quality control checks and documentation revisions. This includes but is not limited to verifying project documentation in the potential project folder and the E2 quote is accurate, ensuring documentation in sales file meets formal requirements and standards, conduct QC checks throughout various records and processes such as receiving inspections, shipped jobs, processed jobs etc. They will work with technical documents like drawings and data sheets to verify congruency and completion. They will also help develop and improve processes and training.

**Essential Job Functions:**

- Comparing E2 BOM on a kit level to the drawing, submittal, quote, spec, and configurator to ensure that all documentation matches the intended design.

- Verify each page of the submittal reflects intended design, and the submittal is fully signed off on.

- Verify the configurator matches the design and the pre-production log items have been closed out and completed before sending to production.

- Verify the purchase order, terms, pre-payments, etc. have been signed off and completed.

- Verify Config, Submittal, and Drawings have been made 100%.

- Verify drawing checklists and design reviews have been completed and signed off on.

- Ensures the project folder is clean by filing any old information.

- Ensures the pump curve matches design points, drawing, and submittal documentation.

- Complete the Convert Checklist in the Configurator.

- Ensures that interrelated processes and steps have been completed and signed off on and approves the project for order entry.

- Work with production/order entry staff to resolve any items that are rejected during order entry to expedite the process flow from sales to production.

- Write and submit NCRs for major quoting, kit errors, and process deviations.

- Helps improve sales efficiency by identifying opportunities for improvement to processes and procedures.

**Required Skills**

- Highly detail-oriented
- Ability to do extensive reading of technical documents with excellent reading comprehension.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Work well in a team environment.
- Good communication skills

**Preferred Skills**

- Knowledge of E2 - MRP
- Sales Support, Technical Writing, or Quality Control

**Job Type**:

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Hours will be 8 am to 5 pm MST.
