### **Job Summary**

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated **Registered Nurse (RN)** to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team in Taos, NM. In this role, you will provide community-based psychiatric nursing services to individuals with serious mental illness, helping them achieve stability, independence, and improved quality of life.

This is a unique opportunity to work outside of a traditional clinical setting and make a direct impact in the community.

### **Key Responsibilities**

- Provide psychiatric nursing care in community-based settings (home visits, field work, office)

- Administer medications, including long-acting injectables, and monitor effectiveness

- Conduct health assessments and ongoing wellness checks

- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (psychiatry, therapy, case management)

- Assist with crisis intervention and client stabilization

- Educate clients and families on medication and health management

- Complete timely and accurate documentation

### **Qualifications**

- Active **Registered Nurse (RN)** license in New Mexico

- Behavioral health or psychiatric nursing experience preferred

- Strong communication and organizational skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
