## Description

**Overview**  
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Building Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction and maintenance, with a focus on ensuring the functionality and safety of our facilities. This role requires a hands-on approach to building operations, maintenance tasks, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to uphold high standards of quality and efficiency.

**Responsibilities**

- Interpret and work from schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Execute concrete finishing and forming tasks as required for various projects.
- Oversee construction site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Assist in construction estimating for upcoming projects to ensure accurate budgeting.
- Carry out welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications.
- Plumb fixtures and systems according to specifications.
- Engage in frame carpentry for structural support and aesthetic finishes.
- Manage flooring installation projects, ensuring proper techniques are applied for durability.
- Install drywall efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

**Qualifications**

- Proven experience in building maintenance or construction roles.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings.
- Strong skills in concrete finishing, forming, welding, plumb work, frame carpentry, flooring installation, and drywall installation.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to construction sites is essential.
