Under the direction of the Principal, the Physical Education Teacher provides physical fitness training and health related programming to students with developmental and emotional disabilities. The Physical Education Teacher must be able to implement appropriate IEP goals, organize school recreational events and promote programming that will enable the students to reach their fullest educational potential while rebuilding their self-esteem. The ability to teach health and driver's education (classroom only) is preferred in order to provide credit opportunities for our students.
