Join our team as a day shift, full-time Wound Care/Mobility  Physical Therapist (PT) in Amarillo, TX.

**Get to Know Your Team:** 

- BSA Hospital is a 445-bed hospital serving the Amarillo area for over 120 years and continues to be Amarillo’s preferred healthcare provider. At BSA, the focus is to provide quality healthcare in Christian love, service, and dignity.

Responsibilities  

- This position will primarily be responsible for a mix of wound care and acute care mobility assessments
- Provide and document examinations and evaluations
- Establish functional PT diagnosis, prognoses and plans of care
- Formulate treatment goals
- Provide physical therapy intervention to patients
- Measure and report outcomes
- Formulate and carry out discharge plans
- Supervise licensed and non-licensed assigned staff or students
- Interact and practice in collaboration with other professionals
- Individuals must comply with the Texas Physical Therapy Practice Acts and Rules

Qualifications  

Job Requirements

- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

- Current Texas state licensure as a Physical Therapist.

- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements

- Previous acute care or clinic experience.
- Prior wound care and mobility assessment experience
