## Description

Functional Pathways is proud to be the therapy provider for **Covenant Woods**, a premier continuing care retirement community located in the heart of Mechanicsville, VA. Surrounded by beautiful wooded grounds and conveniently located just outside of Richmond, Covenant Woods offers a welcoming campus environment with a strong reputation for excellence in senior living and rehabilitation services.

We’re currently hiring for a **Part-time Physical Therapist** to join our collaborative interdisciplinary team and provide care across a variety of settings, including independent living, assisted living, memory support, and skilled nursing. This is an exciting opportunity to build meaningful relationships with residents while working in a supportive environment that values clinical excellence, innovation, and professional growth.

**Job Summary:** The Physical Therapist shall screen, evaluate, re-evaluate, discharge plan, and make revisions in any established plan of care as supervised by the physician.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's, Master’s or Doctorate degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.

- Certification and licensure requirements as established by state and national board associations.

- Active state license required.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Possess current working knowledge of Functional Pathways policies and procedures, clinical programs with application skills to therapy disciplines.

- Ability to supervise Physical Therapy Assistants

- Completion of all required screenings, certifications, and licensure. Screening requirements may vary by location.
