## Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Full-Time

**Location:** Bristol, CT

**Compensation:** $26–$35/hour, depending on experience

### Position Summary

FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers in **Bristol, CT** is seeking a compassionate and motivated **Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)** to join our outpatient team.

Working alongside our Physical Therapists, you will help carry out individualized treatment plans designed to improve patients' strength, mobility, balance, function, and overall quality of life.

Whether you are an experienced PTA or a new graduate beginning your career, you'll have opportunities to continue developing your clinical skills while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.

### Key Responsibilities

- Carry out individualized treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Provide therapeutic exercise, balance training, gait training, and functional mobility interventions
- Monitor patient progress and communicate updates with the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients regarding therapeutic exercises and home exercise programs
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with Physical Therapists and other members of the clinical team
- Provide a positive, patient-centered experience throughout the course of care
- Follow applicable professional, ethical, regulatory, and clinic standards

### Qualifications

- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current **Connecticut Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility for Connecticut licensure**
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a clinical team
- Desire to continue learning and developing professionally
- **New graduates are encouraged to apply**
