Affirmed Home Care is seeking compassionate and experienced **Registered Nurses (RNs)** to care for an **11-year-old pediatric patient with quadriplegia secondary to a brain tumor** in **Allendale, NJ**.

⭐ **Available Shifts**

Coverage Needed:

- **Monday, Wednesday & Thursday:** 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM *(3:30 PM coverage may also be considered)*
- **Saturday & Sunday:** 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

⭐ **About the Case**

- 11-year-old pediatric patient with **quadriplegia secondary to a brain tumor**
- Requires **G-tube feedings and routine G-tube care**
- **Suctioning** support throughout the day at home and school
- **Cough assist treatments**
- Wheelchair dependent
- Assistance with transfers, positioning, and mobility needs
- Consistent daytime schedule
- Supportive and engaged family

⭐ **What You'll Do**

- Provide **1:1 pediatric nursing care** focused on safety, comfort, and clinical stability
- Administer and monitor **G-tube feedings**
- Perform **suctioning and airway management** as needed
- Administer **cough assist therapy** and monitor respiratory status
- Assess for changes in condition and communicate updates appropriately
- Assist with mobility, positioning, and activities of daily living
- Collaborate with the family, school personnel, physicians, and Affirmed Home Care clinical team to ensure continuity of care
- Complete accurate clinical documentation

⭐ **Pay Rate**

**RN: $50/hr**

⭐ **What You Bring**

- Active **New Jersey RN License**
- Preferred experience with **G-tube feedings, suctioning, cough assist, and medically complex pediatric patients**
- Current **BLS Certification**
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Physical exam within 12 months
- PPD or QuantiFERON within 1 year (or chest X-ray within 5 years)
- Proof of flu vaccine or approved exemption
