Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required ## Responsibilities for this Position **As a Printed Circuit Board Design Hardware Engineer, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for the following:** - Assist the Electrical Engineering product design team in the layout of high speed/high density multi-layer Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) to MIL/IPC standards using PCB design tools, with experience in Siemens DX Designer and Xpedition Enterprise preferred. Support design efforts using PTC CREO and AutoCAD design tools. - Support thermal and mechanical analysis to ensure reliability under operating requirements. Gain exposure to thermal issues and assist in diagnosing thermal-related problems. Support the Qualification process of all PCBs designed in house. Support the Procurement and Fabrication of the PCBs. Assist in troubleshooting fielded equipment failures traced to PCBs. - Assist in the development of CAD layout including symbol creation, library management (component footprints, schematic symbols), and component placement, with growing understanding of constraints management, topology, and signal/trace integrity, as well as contributing to documentation and drawings for manufacturing and assembly.
