## Description

**Role:** Oracle Fusion HCM Payroll Architect  
**Type:** FT  
**Location:** Irvine, CA  

Job Description:  

**Oracle Fusion HCM Payroll Architect** is required to fix certain Payroll Issues. Bridge business requirements with technical execution to ensure accurate wage calculations, tax compliance, and seamless integrations.  
**Key Responsibilities**

- **Solution Architecture & Design:** Lead end-to-end Oracle Fusion US/Global Payroll solution designs, workshops, and operating models.
- **System Configuration:** Configure payroll elements, balances, costing, calculation rules, and complex **Payroll Fast Formulas**.
- **Legislative & Union Compliance:** Manage Federal, State, and Local taxation, W-2/year-end processing, garnishments, and Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs) for union/non-union workforces.
- **Core HR & Ecosystem Alignment:** Oversee setup for Core HR, Legal Employers, Payroll Statutory Units (**PSUs**), and Tax Reporting Units (**TRUs**).
- **Integrations & Testing:** Direct payroll-to-Finance/GL integrations, third-party vendor connections (ADP, banks, benefit providers), parallel payroll runs, CRP, UAT, and go-live stabilization.

**Required Qualifications & Skills**

- **Experience:** 10+ years in Oracle HCM implementations, with 7+ years specialized in Oracle Cloud Payroll across multiple full lifecycle deployments.
- **Technical Mastery:** Deep proficiency in Payroll Fast Formulas, HCM Extracts, OTBI, BI Publisher, and Oracle Integration Cloud (**OIC)**
- **Domain Knowledge:** Strong mastery of US/Global payroll laws, wage attachments, FLSA, and General Ledger reconciliation.
- **Certifications:** Active **Oracle Cloud Payroll** and **Oracle Cloud HCM** certifications.
- **Education & Soft Skills:** Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or HR, paired with executive stakeholder communication skills.
