## Description

**Job Overview**  

Fairview is looking for a Nutrition Services Aide on the Southdale Campus in Edina, MN! This position is **21 hours** **per** every 2-week period, on **evening** shift and is not benefit eligible.

Prepares and portions food, assembles and disassembles patient trays in a safe manner. Serves customers, delivers, and retrieves patient trays.

**Schedule**

**Week 1**

Wednesday 3:15pm-8:30pm

**Week 2**

Thursday 3:15pm-8:30pm

Saturday 3:15pm-8:30pm

Sunday 3:15pm-8:30pm

**Responsibilities**

- Prepares and portions food appropriately for designated areas.
- Plates and serves food.
- Handles and stores food in a safe manner following HACCP standard operation procedures.
- Sanitizes equipment and work area per assigned schedules and designated procedures.
- Wash and sanitize dishes and utensils.
- Serves customers in cafeterias, doctors dining rooms and other non-patient locations.
- Demonstrates ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served.

**Required Qualifications**

- Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, using the English language. Basic math skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**

- High School Diploma or
- GED
