## Description

Full Time live-out Nanny required for a SoHo family with two young children (newborn + toddler) starting ASAP. Specific duties to be negotiated with the family, but in general, you will be responsible for all child related duties including providing nurturing care and interacting with their children in an engaging, loving and age-appropriate way. The family does have a baby nurse in place for the coming months and the family is searching for candidates who are looking for a long term commitment managing two young children.

To be successful, you will need to be experienced with infant and toddler care, have high emotional IQ and looking to partner with parents who value good communication. The ideal candidate is able to complete light, child related housekeeping duties (laundry, meal preparation, organization, etc) and maintain all common areas in a clean and tidy state (family has a housekeeper for deep cleans). The ability to work independently and show initiative with engaged wake windows and intentional activity planning is important to this role. This family is a great match for creative and energetic candidates who are prompt and dependable!

Location: SoHo, NY

Start date: ASAP

Days/times: Guaranteed 40 hours a week with general hours expected to land between 8am - 4pm. Flexibility as needed for additional evening or sporadic weekend hours is required. Ability to travel domestically and internationally with advance notice preferred.

Children: Infant son (born July 2026) + toddler daughter (born Sept 2024). Baby nurse is in place until November.

Conditions: $35 - $40 per hour* (paid as a W2 employee + all hours over 40hr paid at x1.5 rate) plus unlimited monthly metrocard, sick/personal days, public holidays and at least two weeks paid leave per year. Family open to providing healthcare stipend for the perfect candidate.

For further consideration, applicants must possess the following:

- Authorization to work in the US
- Clean drivers license required (no city driving)
- An ideal candidate has at least 7 years experience working with families with young children (with long term tenure, NYC based families highly preferred)
- A well-suited demeanor + recent experience working with toddler
- Demonstrates professionalism and discretion at all times, reflecting the high standards and values prioritized by the family
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
- Exceptional childcare references that attest to strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality, and high emotional intelligence
- Education or equivalent knowledge of ages and stages of child growth and development
- A flexible schedule and ability/interest to support a busy, dual working parent household
