At **Alpha Transport Inc.**, we take pride in being one of the **largest petroleum transporters** in the Western U.S. To keep our fleet running **safely and efficiently**, we operate a **state-of-the-art, heated 4-bay enclosed shop, a drive-through wash bay, and a fully equipped tire room**.

We’re looking for a **skilled and safety-focused** **Truck & Trailer Mechanic** to **maintain, diagnose, and repair** our fleet of fuel-hauling trucks and trailers. If you’re **passionate about diesel mechanics**, work well in a **fast-paced environment**, and want to be part of a **team that values quality and safety**, we want to hear from you!

### **What You’ll Do:**

- **Diagnose & Troubleshoot** mechanical and electrical issues on fuel-hauling trucks and trailers.
- **Perform Preventive Maintenance** to keep equipment in peak condition.
- **Conduct Major & Minor Repairs**, including brake systems, suspension, tires, air, and electrical systems.
- **Handle Minor Diesel Engine Repairs** and ensure regulatory compliance.
- **Maintain an Organized Work Area** to ensure safety and efficiency.
- **Collaborate with the Team** to ensure timely repairs and minimize downtime.

### **What We’re Looking For:**

- **Experience in Truck & Trailer Maintenance** (fuel tanker experience a plus!).
- **Valid Driver’s License** (CDL preferred but not required).
- **Own Basic Tools** to perform job functions.
- **Basic Computer Skills** to log work and complete reports.
- **High School Diploma or Equivalent.**
- **Welding Experience** (a plus but not required).
- **Safety-Oriented Mindset** with attention to detail.
