Effective through December 31, 2026.*** **Responsibilities** The Medical Office Specialist is responsible for providing administrative and clinical support to ensure the efficient daily operation of a fast-paced dermatology practice. This position serves as a key member of the care team, supporting both the front office, including patient registration, scheduling, check-in/check-out, and telephone management, as well as clinical duties, including rooming patients, assisting providers with procedures, and maintaining examination rooms and clinical supplies. The Medical Office Specialist promotes a positive patient experience through professionalism, compassion, strong communication, and attention to detail while ensuring compliance with HIPAA, infection control standards, and established clinical and administrative policies. This role requires flexibility, teamwork, multitasking, and the ability to prioritize responsibilities in a high-volume clinical environment while supporting providers, medical assistants, and administrative staff to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
