Candidate must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to multiple locations. Locations include Glen Burnie and the Downtown Hospital. Front Office Duties: - Greet patients in a courteous and friendly manner, providing a welcoming atmosphere. - Schedule and confirm patient appointments and procedures - Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays or fees as needed. - Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information to patients and other callers. - Complete patient check-in and check-out processes Back Office Duties: - Take patient vital signs, record medical histories, and update electronic health records (EHR). - Provide patient education and instructions as directed by healthcare providers. **Requirements** **EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE** - **Education and Work Experience:** * High School Diploma or GED * A minimum of one year experience, preferrably in a medical office setting. **SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS** - **License Requirements:** * N/A - **Certification Requirements:** * CPR-preferred - **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:** * Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel * Microsoft Outlook * Epic (if applicable to position) * Performance Manager/NetLearning * Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize one or more of the following: * Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner. * Must be able to work independently and possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. * Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public. * Must be flexible, have personal integrity, and the ability to function effectively as a team with other employees. * Must be able to follow written and oral instructions. - **Other Requirements:** * Required to travel to satellite offices **Min** USD $20.32/Hr. **Max** USD $33.53/Hr. **Salary Information** Compensation decisions are made in alignment with internal equity, role scope, and market data to ensure fair and consistent pay practices.
