## Description

**Job Description**

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment, following recipes and safety procedures, completing required documentation, and keeping the work area clean and organized.

**Machine Operator – Essential Duties & Responsibilities**

- Work safely and follow all company safety guidelines and procedures.
- Understand and follow all Food Safety, GMP, allergen, HACCP, food defense, and SQF requirements.
- Read, understand, and follow production recipes and specifications.
- Mix doughs according to established recipes and procedures.
- Operate mixers, timers, batch recipe systems, digital scales, and other assigned production equipment.
- Troubleshoot basic process-related issues within established recipe and production guidelines.
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures and accurately document lot numbers and production information.
- Clean and refill ingredient bins and ensure bins are labeled with the correct lot numbers.
- Monitor and assist with upstream and downstream equipment to maintain continuous production.
- Properly clean mixers, equipment, and work areas during and after production runs and changeovers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Immediately report food safety, quality, equipment, or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
- Follow supervisor direction and support other members of the shift as needed.
- Must be able to stand for the entire shift and regularly climb stairs and ladders.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, and assist in other departments as needed.
- Attend all required safety, food safety, GMP, and other company training.

**Shift Hours**

**3:00PM-11:00PM**

**Physical Requirements**

- Ability to stand for the entire shift.

**Qualifications and Education Requirements**

**Education:** No specific educational requirements.

**Experience:** Previous experience operating and maintaining production equipment and ensuring efficient operation of the production line is required.
