If you want to join a team of industry leading experts and who want to create an impact on the future of material handling solutions, we want to hear from you! ## Responsibilities **Position Summary:** The Machine Operator operates the CNC machine to cut and build rollers, sets up and operates a variety of machines. **Responsibilities include but are not limited to:** - Measuring and setting up machines to manufacture a high volume of parts - Performing machine shop and mold press operations to support Assembly - Detecting defective materials and questionable conditions and reports to the manager - Maintaining the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition - Following safety regulations - Performing preventative maintenance on machines - Employees are responsible for complying with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures. - Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction. ## Qualifications **Education and Experience Requirements:** - High School Diploma or equivalent preferred - Minimum of 1 year of related experience **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:** - Ability to use a band saw, hand tools and calipers and perform milling, turning, drilling, taping, deburring, molding, and all bench operations - Ability to read blueprints - Basic math skills - Knowledge of standard and metric measurements - Knowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniques - Self-motivated and detail-oriented - Team orientation - Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language **ADA Requirements:** - **Medium work:** Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. - **Reaching:** Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction. - **Standing:** Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time. - **Walking:** Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another. - **Pushing:** Using upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward, downward or outward. - **Pulling:** Using upper extremities to exert force in order to draw, drag, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion. - **Lifting:** Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to-position.
