Together, we are creating an environment where nurses are owners in the clinical decision-making process, are well connected, have open communication with their colleagues, feel supported to develop professionally, and understand the future of nursing at MultiCare. **Responsibilities** - Utilizes the nursing process as a systematic problem-solving approach to nursing care, facilitating an optimal level of functioning and health for the patient - Performs patient triage in person, via telephone and secure messages, utilizing protocols, guidelines, and standards - Utilizes assessment and analysis skills in delivering medical regimens as directed by physicians, advanced practice providers and registered nurses - Delegates selected patient care functions to others in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence - Collaborates with the clinic team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience and stewardship - Fosters a learning environment for patients, families, and all members of the health care team. - Advocates for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds **Requirements** - Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program - Current Licensed Practical Nurse in Washington State or Multistate license endorsement (MLS) - Current basic life support certification (BLS) - Two years of experience as an LPN - in a clinic setting preferred **Where kids and families are always first** Everything we do starts with a commitment to children and families.
