Vital Medical Staffing is looking for **reliable, compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)** who are available to pick up **PRN, last-minute, and short-notice shifts** when our facilities need coverage. This opportunity is ideal for LPNs who **have a flexible schedule, are not committed to a fixed full-time schedule, and can be available to step in when coverage is needed.** Our facilities may contact us when there is a last-minute call-out or an urgent staffing need, so having **open availability and the ability to respond to short-notice opportunities is an important part of this role.** If you're dependable, clinically confident, adaptable, and someone our staffing team can count on when a facility needs coverage, we'd love to hear from you! ### What You'll Do As a PRN LPN, you'll provide direct patient care within your scope of practice while following each facility's policies and procedures. Responsibilities may include: - Administering medications and treatments as permitted within your scope of practice - Monitoring patient conditions and reporting changes appropriately - Documenting patient care accurately and timely - Providing compassionate, patient-centered care - Working collaboratively with RNs, CNAs, and facility staff - Following facility protocols and safety procedures - Communicating patient concerns and staffing-related needs promptly - Arriving on time, prepared, and ready to work each scheduled shift We partner with **hospitals, long-term care facilities, behavioral health settings, and clinics**, giving you the opportunity to work in a variety of healthcare environments. ### What We're Looking For **The most important thing we're looking for is availability and reliability.** To be considered, you should: - Have an **active and valid LPN license** - Have **flexible, open availability** to pick up PRN shifts - Be willing and able to accept **last-minute or short-notice shifts when available** - Have a **current, valid TB test** - Have an **active CPR/BLS certification** - Have CPR/BLS certification completed **in person with an instructor** - online-only courses are not accepted - Have reliable transportation - Have strong communication and documentation skills - Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and sound clinical judgment - Be comfortable working in different healthcare environments ### Why Join Vital Medical Staffing? **Flexible work.
