What You’ll Own

As a Lead Carpenter / Cabinet Installer, you’ll take the lead on quality, execution, and craftsmanship in the field.

You will:

- Lead the installation of **cabinetry, countertops, trim, and finish carpentry**
- Ensure installations meet Norfolk’s standards for **fit, finish, accuracy, and presentation**
- Read and execute from plans, layouts, elevations, and measurements
- Identify and resolve complex installation and field conditions
- Complete detailed finish work where precision matters
- Guide, support, and mentor less-experienced carpenters
- Partner with Project Managers and Designers to keep projects moving
- Perform quality checks and help ensure punch-list items are completed properly
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite
- Represent Norfolk professionally while working in customers’ homes and other high-visibility environments

We’re looking for someone who has already built a strong foundation in the trade and is ready to take ownership.

- **10+ years of carpentry, cabinet installation, or finish carpentry experience**
- Strong experience with **custom cabinetry and detailed finish work**
- Demonstrated ability to lead, train, or mentor other carpenters
- Confidence reading plans, layouts, elevations, and measurements
- Strong troubleshooting and field problem-solving skills
- Close attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a larger project team
- Professional, customer-focused communication
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting **50+ lbs.**
- OSHA 10 Certification is a plus
- **Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply**
