**Location Description**  

The Lawrence, Kansas facility is 236,000 square feet and home to about 200+ hard working team members who are proud to produce iconic pet food brands like Kibbles 'n Bits®. Lawrence is a college town and the home to both the University of Kansas and Haskell Indian Nations University with Kansas State University about 85 miles away. The city is known for a thriving music and art scene and is also the home of the University of Kansas athletic teams.

**Responsibilities**  

## Ingredient OperatorStarting rate: **$27.95** per hourThe Post Consumer Brands facility in Lawrence, KS operates on a 24/7 production schedule. Team members will work: - B Shift - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and every other Friday 6:00pm-6:00am - Shift premium - $0.50 per hour **Responsibilities**In the Ingredient Operator role, you will: - Receive and unload bulk ingredients from rail cars and trucks - Perform accurate, timely tests on incoming ingredients to ensure quality assurance and food safety - Operate grinding and mixing equipment - Maintain equipment to reduce/eliminate downtime - Maintain a clean, sanitary and orderly work area to ensure employee and food safety **Qualifications** The successful candidate (s) for this role will have the following qualifications: - Possess a high school diploma or a GED - Ability to comply with a strict attendance policy - Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment - Ability and willingness to communicate with cross functional teams - Ability to comply with captive uniform and safety shoe policy - Ability to complete routine computer-based trainings - Experience in food manufacturing preferredPhysical Demands (with or without reasonable accommodation): - Lift: * Floor to Knuckle 55 lbs. occasionally * 12” from floor to Knuckle 55 lbs. occasionally - Push/Pull: * Push (static force) 50 lbs. occasionally * Pull (static force) 50 lbs. occasionally
