The job description is not intended to include all duties or qualifications that may be required now or in the future. The Hotel operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, so operational demands require variations in shift days, starting times, and hours worked in a week.* - Lead, motivate, and support our housekeeping team to consistently deliver exceptional cleanliness and presentation. - Inspect guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas to ensure our standards are met or exceeded. - Check all vacant/ready/stay over rooms daily. - Check out of order rooms daily. - Identify showrooms for Sales Department. - Turn in all lost and found items and all guest room keys. - Coordinate daily room assignments, cleaning priorities, and team productivity. - Train, coach, and develop housekeeping associates in collaboration with the Executive Housekeeper, creating a positive and accountable work environment. - Work closely with Front Office and Maintenance to ensure rooms are guest-ready and issues are resolved quickly. - Monitor housekeeping supplies, linens, and equipment while helping control costs and minimize waste. - Ensure compliance with cleanliness, sanitation, and workplace safety standards. - Jump in and support the team wherever needed. Great leaders aren't afraid to roll up their sleeves! *KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES* - Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or hospitality environment; supervisory experience strongly preferred. - A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding results. - Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills. - A positive, approachable leadership style that motivates and develops others. - The ability to multitask, solve problems, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. - Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as business needs require. - A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences. - Ability to read and write basic English to complete forms such as a room status report. - Ability to provide clear direction, instruction, and guidance to subordinates.\\Ability to provide information and answer hotel guest and colleague questions. - Time management skills. *PHYSICAL DEMANDS* • Ability to lift, reach, bend, stoop, stand and walk continuously, climb stairs, and push or pull heavy equipment • Pushing heavy carts. • Lifting fifty (50) pounds maximum. • Stand and walk for varying lengths of time, often long periods. • Frequent twisting, bending, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing and smiling.
