## Description

Our client, a hospitality ownership group, is seeking an experienced Hotel General Manager to lead a well-established, nationally branded select-service hotel in Meridian, Mississippi.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on hotel operator who enjoys leading teams, improving property performance, driving guest satisfaction and taking ownership of the financial results of the hotel.

The General Manager will oversee all aspects of property operations and will be responsible for building a strong service culture, maintaining brand standards, controlling expenses, developing the team and identifying opportunities to grow revenue and market share.

- Provide overall leadership for day-to-day hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, breakfast, maintenance and guest services.

- Take ownership of the property's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, labor management, expense controls and profitability.

- Develop and execute strategies to increase occupancy, ADR, RevPAR and overall hotel revenue.

- Monitor property performance and market trends and adjust operating and sales strategies accordingly.

- Recruit, train, coach and develop a high-performing hotel team.

- Establish clear performance expectations and create a culture of accountability and exceptional guest service.

- Maintain a visible, hands-on presence throughout the hotel and engage regularly with guests and associates.

- Ensure Hilton/Hampton brand standards, company policies and operating procedures are consistently maintained.

- Monitor guest satisfaction scores and online feedback and implement strategies to improve the guest experience.

- Maintain high standards for cleanliness, preventative maintenance, safety and overall property condition.

- Develop relationships with local businesses, corporate accounts and community partners to identify additional revenue opportunities.

- Manage vendor relationships and ensure appropriate purchasing and cost controls.

- Partner with ownership on budgets, forecasts, capital needs and property performance.

- Ensure compliance with applicable employment, safety and operational requirements.

**Ideal Candidate**

The successful candidate will be a **hands-on, results-oriented hotel leader** who understands both the operational and financial sides of running a select-service property.

We're looking for someone who can lead from the front, develop a strong team and take personal ownership of the hotel's performance.

**Qualifications:**

- 3–5+ years of hotel management experience, with General Manager or senior property leadership experience strongly preferred.

- Hilton/Hampton or comparable select-service brand experience preferred.

- Strong understanding of hotel P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, labor and expense controls.

- Demonstrated ability to improve guest satisfaction and operational performance.

- Understanding of hotel sales, revenue management and local account development.

- Proven ability to recruit, train and retain effective hotel teams.

- Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.

- Experience maintaining brand standards and preparing for quality assurance inspections.

- Ability and willingness to be actively involved in daily hotel operations.
