This role requires experience or willingness to learn radiologic equipment, including C-arm (fluoroscopy) technology, to support orthopedic procedures and physician needs. As needed, this role may also support basic Medical Assistant duties to help maintain efficient clinic flow. **Location:** Boulder & Broomfield, CO — this role splits time between both locations based on operational needs; comfort traveling between the two is expected. **Why Techs Choose BoulderCentre:** - Monday–Friday schedule with predictable hours — no evenings, weekends, holidays, or on-call - **New grads welcome** — freshly ARRT-certified techs encouraged to apply; we invest in training - **Competitive, market pay**: $31–$39/hour, commensurate with experience and certification - $4,000 sign-on bonus for full-time employees - Clinics closed for 7 major holidays, with holiday pay for eligible employees - Work alongside orthopedic specialists in a focused, collaborative outpatient environment (not a high-volume hospital setting) - Build specialized expertise in orthopedic imaging **Department:** Clinical **Reports To:** Clinical Manager **Schedule/Status:** Full-Time, Onsite, Non-Exempt (Hourly), Monday–Friday **Compensation:** - ARRT: $31–$39 per hour (commensurate with experience and certification level) - $4,000 sign-on bonus for full-time employees - Bonus Eligibility: Not eligible **Essential Duties** - Prepares patients for radiologic procedures - Protects the patient, self, and other staff from radiation hazards - Takes X-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety, including setting up and operating radiographic equipment and implementing infection control procedures - Selects proper ionizing factors for radiological diagnosis; adjusts/sets radiographic controls - Positions patients and takes X-rays of specific body parts as requested by physicians - Creates digital radiological images; checks images for clarity, retaking when necessary - Uploads and manages X-rays in Medstrat - Maintains required records, including patient records, daily log books, and monthly reports - Performs quantity and quality control checks to ensure equipment meets required standards - Complies with safety standards - Cleans, maintains, and makes minor adjustments to radiographic equipment; determines when repairs are needed - Maintains radiographic supplies and orders as necessary - Burns images to disc when needed by patients and/or physicians - Complies with organizational policies, procedures, code of conduct, and mission, values & vision - Other duties as assigned **Education & Certification Requirements:** Associate’s degree from an accredited radiologic technology program required. Must be registered as a Radiologic Technologist through the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), full-scope certification required. Must hold a current state X-Ray Technology license. **Experience:** New graduates encouraged to apply — we welcome candidates fresh out of an accredited radiologic technology program who hold current ARRT full-scope registration. One to three years of experience is a plus but not required, preferably in a medical practice environment.
