**WHAT YOU'LL DO**

As our Foundation Repair Technician, you will be responsible for supporting commercial & residential foundation repair, soil stabilization, or concrete lifting & leveling projects. Career advancement is available. To succeed, you will need a flexible skill set, including the ability to communicate, work hard, and collaborate.

**DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES**

- Perform general construction work, using hand tools, and lifting materials as directed by the site supervisor; Construction work may include any of the following: crawlspace work, outside drilling, pile drilling, machinery operation, or concrete work
- Understand project schedules, assume additional responsibilities, and work overtime hours as needed to meet project deadlines
- Work cohesively with team members to exceed client expectations, ensuring a positive work environment
- Maintain equipment daily to ensure it functions properly and safely
- Align the work with Helicon's culture and strategic goals — Stay True, Communicate Clearly, Forecast Needs + Outperform
- Work with the team on mutually agreed-upon key performance indicators (KPIs)

**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**

- High School diploma, GED or equivalent
- At least one year of experience in construction general labor and/ or outdoor work for long hours
- Reliable transportation, valid FL driver’s license, and a clean driving record
- The ability to be coached and mentored and collaborate within a team environment

**WORK SCHEDULE:**

- Varies; will require flexible schedule, with occasional weekends and holidays
- Local day travel is required
- Position requires regular overtime
- Occasional week-long projects out of town (stipend by the company)

**ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:**

- Work near or with moving mechanical parts – Frequently
- Outdoor weather conditions – Frequently
- Moderate-Loud Noise

**PHYSICAL DEMANDS:**

- Must be able to lift/carry/push or pull up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to hear equipment operating, alarms sounding, traffic, telephones
- Ability to see clearly at 20 inches/50 centimeters or less and at 20 feet/6 meters or more
