We’re looking for a passionate **Family Medicine Physician (DO)** to serve as Residency Core Faculty — shaping the next generation of physicians while providing comprehensive care to our patients. This is more than a job — it’s a calling to walk alongside others on their healing journey through culturally grounded care. **What You’ll Do:** As a **Family Medicine Physician**, you’ll work in a supportive and collaborative environment rooted in cultural humility, integrity and compassion. In this role, you’ll: - Provide full-spectrum family medicine care — including obstetric, psychiatric, surgical, and emergency services — as credentialed. - Serve as core faculty for the **Family Medicine Residency Program**, dedicating approximately 50% of your time to resident education, precepting, curriculum development, and scholarly activities. - Provide and precept inpatient Osteopathic Manual Manipulation (OMM) services at area hospitals and other healthcare facilities, as assigned. - Provide teaching and evaluation of resident (OMM) skills through didactics presentations, workshops, and participate in osteopathic residency CCC. - Mentor and evaluate residents and medical students, fostering their growth in both clinical and professional skills. - Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer review, and organizational committees. - Collaborate with specialists and coordinate referrals to ensure continuity of care. - Engage in community-focused health education and promote culturally responsive care. **What You Bring:** - **Board Certified** in Family Medicine (or board eligible). - Eligible for **Washington State medical license** and **hospital privileges** within four months of hire. - **Board Certified** (or board eligible) in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine and Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine (OMM/NMM). - Demonstrated experience in teaching and precepting medical residents. - Commitment to cultural humility and working effectively in a Native community. - Current ACLS and/or PALS and/or ALSO certifications. **Why PTHA?** We are more than a clinic — we're a culturally grounded, patient-first health and wellness center serving the Indigenous community.
