Working alongside an experienced engineering team, you will help ensure safe, reliable, and efficient building operations while supporting tenant needs and overall facility performance. This is a fully on-site role supporting a single-building operation. **What your day-to-day will look like:** - Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, emergency power, and building controls. - Monitor and service electrical panels, switchgear, transformers, circuit breakers, UPS systems, and generators. - Respond to electrical service requests and complete work orders using a CMMS system. - Perform preventative maintenance and electrical testing (voltage, amperage, continuity, resistance). - Support building operations with minor general maintenance tasks as needed. - Coordinate with vendors and oversee contractor work related to electrical systems. - Respond to electrical emergencies and communicate effectively with site leadership and occupants. **Required Qualification:** - HS diploma or GED - **Minimum 1 year of hands-on commercial or industrial electrical experience** - Valid Massachusetts Journeyman or Master Electrician license. - Completed electrical apprenticeship program or trade school education. - Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC), Massachusetts electrical codes, and OSHA standards. - Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and one-line diagrams. - Ability to work on-site and respond to on-call requirements. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience in commercial, institutional, or technology-driven facilities. - Familiarity with emergency power systems, UPS, generators, and building automation systems. - Working knowledge of HVAC or mechanical systems in a facilities environment. - Experience using CMMS platforms and basic Microsoft Office tools. - Strong customer service and communication skills. - Ability to safely work at heights, in confined spaces, and in active electrical rooms. **Location:** Franklin, Massachusetts **Work Shift:** - 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. (on-call expectation) This position does not provide visa sponsorship.
