You're paid for your scheduled hours even when a client cancels. - Predictable schedule: Schedules are posted 2 weeks in advance. The salon is open 7 AM–7 PM Monday–Friday and 8 AM–4 PM Saturday–Sunday, so you're always done by 7. - No equipment costs: We supply and maintain all grooming tools and equipment. Bring only your talent! - Bather support: Dedicated bathers prep dogs so you can spend your time styling. - No sales pressure: Our sales team books appointments and brings in the business, so you can focus on grooming and don't have to build a client list or chase bookings. - Real benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance; paid vacation; paid sick time; and a 401(k) with company match. - Room to grow: Clear, structured career growth opportunities and a learning and education program that supports your professional development. - Perks: Generous employee discounts on our products and services, including pet daycare, plus our unique Employee Rewards & Recognition Program. **What You'll Do** - Provide breed-specific and client-requested haircuts and styling - Perform brushing, bathing, and conditioning as needed - Keep every pet safe and comfortable during grooming - Maintain a clean, sanitary grooming area - Advise clients on maintenance grooming and coat care - Recommend services that benefit each pet's coat, skin, and overall health **What You Bring** - At least 1 year of professional, high volume dog grooming experience - Knowledge of breed standards and techniques; grooming school certification preferred - Strong customer service and teamwork skills - Ability to safely handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments **Physical Requirements & Schedule** - Stand for extended periods and do repetitive hand and arm motions with grooming tools - Lift and restrain dogs up to 40 lbs on your own, with help for larger dogs - Work in a noisy environment around dog and cat dander, waste, and cleaning chemicals - Communicate clearly with clients and teammates - Full-time employment status (35–40 hours/week), with shifts scheduled within salon hours.
