## Description

**Reports To:** Prepared Foods Management

**Location:** All City Market Locations

**Union Position UE Local 203:** Non-exempt, Grade 4

**Summary**

City Market Co-Op is seeking **Deli Service Staff** to assist our Prepared Foods Department in crafting many of our popular offerings! **Day-to-Day Duties**

- Assisting in preparation, stocking and cleaning of all food display and production stations.
- Providing exceptional customer service to our customers, vendors, co-workers, and community.
- Gathering ingredients from storage or from other departments as necessary.
- Assisting with receiving and stocking new products when needed.
- Ensuring that finished products are tasty, fresh and attractive.
- Compliance with established City Market procedures and practices regarding operations, sales, safety, and security.
- May be required to perform other related duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**

- Six months of cooking or food service experience OR one year of customer service experience required OR a demonstrated willingness to learn.
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Knowledge of natural and conventional foods and the food industry helpful.
