A successful ADCE Engineer does much more than plug computers together and track changes. They are instrumental in deploying, operating, and scaling a massive always-on distributed system that is core to all of AWS. We are looking for a experienced and motivated engineer to join our fast-moving and passionate team. This position requires that the candidate selected must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance. The position further requires that, after start, the selected candidate obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph or commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work. ## Basic Qualifications - High school or equivalent diploma, or A+ or CND (Certified Network Defender) or Network+ or Security+ - 1+ years of networking and troubleshooting experience - 1+ years of systems administration (Linux/Windows) experience - Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above ## Preferred Qualifications - High school or equivalent diploma, or certification in an applicable field like A+, Net+, Sec+, CCNA, LPIC, Linux+, AWS certification - 3+ years of networking and troubleshooting experience - 3+ years of systems administration (Linux/Windows) experience Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
