Most commonly working in the Operating Room, CRNAs also respond to emergencies, work in the cath and IR labs, and regularly support the birth center. They may provide consultations for inpatients and routinely supervise the pre-anesthesia clinic. CRNAs function independently under the scope of their privileges and license. **Responsibilities** - Inpatient consults, ED consults, rounding, provide sedation and anesthesia in surgery - Perform bedside procedures - Sedation and pain control in all hospital units - ED and inpatient call **Requirements** - Board certified as a nurse anesthetist - Credentialed and privileged at Capital Medical Center - WA state license required - DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority required - BLS for Healthcare providers – certification by AHA required **About Capital Medical Center**  MultiCare Capital Medical Center is a 107-bed community hospital providing award-winning care to Olympia and surrounding communities.
