## Description

Park Place of St. John, an Assisted Living/Small House and Independent Living Community, located in St. John, IN is seeking a **Cook for Part Time**. Pay is based on relevant experience from resume. **Schedule and Hours: Open ended schedule and hours.**

**Description:**

The purpose of your role as a **Cook** is to prepare food in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, with our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Administrator and/or Dietary Director, to assure that quality food service is provided at all times.

- Review menus prior to preparation of food; and ensure that menus are maintained and filed in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Ensure that all dietary procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
- Assist in standardizing the methods in which work will be accomplished.
- Prepare meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
- Serve meals in accordance with established portion control procedures.

- At least 1-2 years of professional Cook/Chef experience.
- Previous Cook experience for Healthcare environment ideal but not required.
- Pass a physical, drug screen, 50-pound lift test, fingerprint for criminal background and complete a reference check.
