## Description

CarShield is seeking a Collections Representative to join its growing Payment Processing and Collections team. In this role, you will handle inbound and outbound calls with existing customers, assist with past-due accounts, and help customers bring their accounts current.

In this role, you will:

- Handle inbound and outbound calls with existing customers regarding past-due accounts.
- Collect payments and assist customers with bringing their accounts current.
- Maintain a positive, customer-first approach while communicating clearly and professionally.
- Accurately document customer interactions and payment activity in applicable systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

### Compensation and Benefits

- $17 per hour plus performance bonus opportunities; average hourly earnings are approximately $21-$25.

- Ability to work on-site at CarShield's headquarters in St. Peters, Missouri.
- At least two years of experience in a call center environment; collections experience preferred.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a professional phone presence.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to receive and apply coaching and constructive feedback.
- Basic computer and typing skills.
- Ability to obtain the license required by the State of Missouri; CarShield supports the application process and fee.
