**About the Opportunity**

*University Physicians' Association* is seeking a compassionate and motivated **Certified Medical Assistant** or **Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)** to join our **UT Rheumatology** team located on the **UT Medical Center campus**. **What We're Looking For:**

The ideal candidate will prioritize patient care, demonstrate strong communication skills, and be comfortable giving instructions and writing orders. This role works closely with physicians to ensure a smooth and positive experience for patients.

**What You'll Do:**

You’ll play a key role in supporting both patients and providers through responsibilities such as:

- Assisting physicians with direct patient care
- Scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
- Completing prior authorizations and pre-certifications for MRIs and CTs
- Communicating test results clearly and professionally
- Performing phlebotomy
- Supporting a variety of clinical and administrative duties

In this role, you’ll build strong relationships with patients, families, and physicians—representing the practice with professionalism, compassion, and a positive attitude.

- Active **LPN license** or **MA Certification** required
- Previous medical or clinical experience preferred
- Strong customer service and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and effective time management
