We are committed to cultivating a place where everyone can feel they belong. **About Interpreting Services:** Under the Department of Communication and Access, our Interpreting Services includes practicing in a variety of settings, including educational, medical and therapeutic. **POSITION SUMMARY:** Provide interpreting services for a variety of community clients. **SUPERVISOR:** Director of Communication Access Services **FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** Interpreters will provide a variety of interpreting services at TLC in support of our organization’s mission. Interpreting assignments can range from but are not limited to administrative meetings, student and parent conferences, educational mainstreaming, in-services, IEP/ISP meetings, guest lectures, field trips, performing arts, formal ceremonies, mental health situations and medical appointments. Interpreters will work with specialized interpreters such as CDIs, DeafBlind, and Legal interpreters as appropriate. Maintain professional growth and certification through participation in RIDs Certificate Maintenance Program (CMP) or Associate Continuing Education Tracking (ACET). Perform other tasks as assigned by the Department Supervisor and/or Program Leader.
