## Description

We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Cashier to join our team. The Cashier will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, accurately processing transactions, handling cash and electronic payments, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

### Key Responsibilities

- Greet customers in a courteous and professional manner.
- Process cash, credit, debit, and mobile payment transactions accurately.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and customer inquiries according to company policies.
- Balance cash drawers and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked checkout area.
- Assist customers with locating products and answering questions.
- Follow all company policies, safety guidelines, and loss-prevention procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience.

### Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous cashier, retail, or customer service experience is a plus.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
