## Description

**Location:** Paola, KS – Miami County  
**Schedule:** Approximately 7 Hours Per Week

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate **part-time caregiver** to provide in-home support to a client in **Paola, Kansas**.

This assignment is approximately **7 hours per week**. The client is visually impaired, has a dog, and smoking occurs in the home. The ideal caregiver will be patient, reliable, and comfortable working in this environment.

**Responsibilities**

- Assist with activities of daily living
- Help the client safely navigate the home environment
- Provide personal care assistance as needed
- Assist with meal preparation
- Perform light housekeeping related to client care
- Provide companionship and supervision
- Provide medication reminders as authorized
- Follow the client's individualized care plan
- Observe and report changes in the client's condition or needs
- Communicate concerns to the appropriate supervisor

**Requirements**

- **Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience**
- **Current CPR certification**
- Comfortable working in a **smoking household**
- Comfortable working in a home with a **dog**
- Dependable and punctual
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to follow care plans and safety procedures
- Availability for approximately **7 hours per week**

Experience assisting individuals who are blind or visually impaired is preferred.
