Through residential canvassing, our teams introduce homeowners to our products and services and create opportunities for our Design Consultants to connect with qualified homeowners. Our canvassing team is built around communication, teamwork, resilience, and a commitment to creating positive experiences from the very first conversation. **Position Overview** The Canvassing Team Lead is a hands on leadership role responsible for coaching, training, and developing a team of Residential Canvassers in the field. This position leads the day to day activities of the team while working alongside team members to help achieve individual and team goals. This opportunity may be a strong fit for an experienced canvasser or door to door sales professional who has demonstrated the ability to consistently produce results and is ready to take the next step into leadership. It may also be a fit for an experienced people leader coming from another high performance, production based environment who can apply those leadership skills to a field based role. The Canvassing Team Lead leads from the front by setting the example in the field, helping team members improve their communication skills, providing real time coaching, and creating a positive and productive team environment. **What You'll Do:** ### *Lead and Develop the Canvassing Team* • Coach, train, and develop Residential Canvassers through a hands on approach. • Work alongside the team in the field and lead by example. • Motivate team members to meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly goals. • Provide real time coaching and feedback to help team members improve their conversations with homeowners. • Participate in role playing, classroom training, and other development activities. • Identify individual and team performance trends and proactively address opportunities for improvement. ### *Support Daily Field Operations* • Create daily territories for the team before entering the field. • Ensure the team has the equipment and resources needed each day. • Help generate sufficient lead flow based on daily and weekly goals. • Ensure team members are meeting established timelines and department expectations. • Maintain a safe, clean, and productive environment in the field and office. • Help ensure company vehicles and work areas are maintained appropriately. ### *Build a Strong Team Culture* • Create an encouraging, inclusive, and motivated team environment. • Bring positive energy to the team and help create an environment where people are excited to show up and perform. • Support team members through challenges and provide help when needed. • Maintain communication with the team and Direct Marketing Leadership. • Serve as a go to resource for team member questions, concerns, and escalations. • Build strong relationships with team members while maintaining accountability and performance expectations. • Encourage a positive mindset, professional growth, and continuous improvement. ### *Represent Renewal by Andersen* • Represent the company professionally during every interaction with homeowners and community members. • Build trust and rapport with prospective homeowners through honest and authentic conversations. • Help team members understand how their interactions influence the overall customer experience. • Reinforce company standards, policies, procedures, and Signature Service expectations. • Demonstrate integrity in all interactions with homeowners, team members, and leadership. ### *Support Performance and Administration* • Monitor team performance and help ensure department goals are being met. • Communicate team performance, trends, challenges, and opportunities to Direct Marketing Leadership. • Review attendance and timecards and assist with time off scheduling through Paylocity. • Participate in quarterly team member check ins and provide input for performance reviews. • Utilize available performance management tools and processes. • Address performance concerns and participate in performance management when needed. • Help identify opportunities to improve team performance, processes, and overall results. **What We Are Looking For:** • 1+ year of experience in canvassing, door to door sales, field marketing, direct marketing, sales, or a related customer facing role. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly explain expectations, build rapport, and work effectively with people from a variety of backgrounds and experience levels. • High energy, positive attitude, and the ability to motivate others while maintaining a productive and accountable team environment. • Proven ability to consistently achieve daily, weekly, and monthly goals in a performance driven environment. • Highly organized, self motivated, and able to keep yourself and others on task. • Comfortable coaching, providing and receiving feedback, and having direct conversations when expectations or performance are not being met. • Able to follow established processes and training methods while adapting your approach to different team members and situations. • Valid driver's license and an insurable driving record. • Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform the physical requirements of the role, including frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching, repetitive motions, and lifting up to 50 pounds. **Preferred Experience in Any of the Following:** • Residential canvassing or door to door sales experience, particularly in a high volume or performance driven environment. • Previous experience as a Canvassing Team Lead, Canvassing Supervisor, Field Marketing Lead, Sales Lead, or similar leadership position. • Experience coaching, training, mentoring, or developing employees. • Experience leading teams in a production based, high volume, or performance driven environment. • Experience using performance metrics, KPIs, reporting, or other tools to monitor and improve team performance. • Experience in home improvement, home
