## Description

### Your Impact

As a Business Development Representative, you’ll turn relationships into access—helping more patients and families benefit from hospice, home health, and palliative care when it matters most. This mid-level, onsite role exists to grow referral partnerships across NJ while representing our mission with integrity.  

Key responsibilities include:  
- Build, expand, and manage referral relationships across hospitals, physician practices, rehab centers, SNFs, and assisted living  
- Execute territory plans that increase referral volume and consistently exceed targets  
- Deliver clear presentations and service education; coordinate closely to support smooth patient transitions  
- Track activity and opportunities in CRM; use data to refine outreach and territory strategy  

Required qualifications:  
- 2+ years in home health care and hospice sales/marketing (hospice/home health/palliative background)  
- Ability to travel throughout Bergen, Morris, Hudson, Essex, and Passaic counties  
- Strong relationship-building, organization, and communication skills; proficient in CRM, Microsoft Office, Google apps

Your mornings start with a quick scan of your pipeline and referral trends, then you’re out across Northeastern NJ—dropping in for face-to-face touchpoints, attending a lunch-and-learn, or meeting a new clinical leader who wants clarity on hospice eligibility and benefits. Between visits, you document notes in the CRM, adjust your route, and prep a concise deck in PowerPoint for the next stakeholder group.  

By afternoon, you’re aligning with internal partners to keep communication tight, celebrating a win, and setting up the next week’s calendar. Some weeks include evening or weekend events—moments where community impact and relationship trust are built in real time.
