## Description

**Make a Difference in a Child's Life Every Day!**

Northeast Counseling Services is seeking compassionate and dedicated **Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs)** to join our Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) team in Luzerne County.

In this rewarding role, you'll provide one-on-one and group support to children and adolescents, helping them build skills, overcome challenges, and achieve their treatment goals. Working closely with our Behavioral Consultants, you'll play a vital role in creating positive change for youth and families in our community.

**Qualifications**

- High School Diploma required
- High School Diploma with experience working with children or adolescents preferred

**Primary Job duties:**

- Ongoing training and workshops are provided and are mandatory, as is knowledge of the CASSP System.
- Knowledge of the mental health and social service field; familiarity with and ability to access community resources;
- Ability to make accurate assessments of client needs and to be creative in seeking appropriate services;
- Ability to organize time efficiently to meet client needs in a flexible, non-traditional time frame.

- **Pay:** $19.00 per hour
- **Location:** Community-based services throughout Luzerne County
- **License:** Valid Driver's License required
