Job Description Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is seeking a friendly, service-oriented Bartender to join our team. As Bartender, you'll play an important role in supporting hotel operations, delivering exceptional service, and helping our team achieve its operational and business goals. Job Purpose The Food & Beverage position supports the hotel's food and beverage operations by preparing, serving, or coordinating quality products and exceptional guest service. This position follows established standards for food safety, cleanliness, presentation, and service while contributing to an efficient and welcoming dining experience. What You'll Do Provide friendly, professional service to guests and respond to requests promptly. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes, standards, and guest preferences. Verify guest age and follow all applicable laws and responsible alcohol service requirements. Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary bar, service, and work areas. Follow food safety, sanitation, and responsible beverage service requirements. Monitor bar inventory and communicate supply, ordering, or replenishment needs. Assist with setup, breakdown, stocking, and cleaning of the bar and food and beverage areas. Respond appropriately to guest concerns and seek management assistance when needed. Work collaboratively with culinary, restaurant, banquet, and hotel teams. Follow cash-handling, point-of-sale, and company procedures accurately. Support special events, banquets, and other food and beverage operational needs as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous bartending, food and beverage, or hospitality experience preferred. Knowledge of beverage preparation, food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service practices. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and point-of-sale systems. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed. Must meet applicable legal age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages. Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to: Stand and walk for extended periods. Bend, reach, stoop, and lift throughout the workday. Work in hot, cold, wet, or otherwise varying environments as required.
