## Description

**Automotive Technician – Hyundai & Kia | 3+ Years Experience | Richmond Region**

$20–$55 Per Flat Rate Hour · Employee-Owned · Climate-Controlled Shop

We're Carter Myers Automotive — employee-owned, 29 stores, 1,300 associates, family-run since 1924. That's not a tagline. Our Hyundai and Kia shop in the Richmond Region is climate-controlled year-round, with current factory tooling and scan equipment. We keep the work flowing so your flag hours don't depend on luck.

**Compensation**

- $20.00–$55.00 per flat rate hour (based on experience and certification level)
- Full benefits, paid Hyundai and Kia factory training, and an ESOP that makes you an owner. **We'd love to talk more about compensation and benefits at this shop — bring your questions to the conversation.**

**Schedule**

Full-time, Monday–Friday 7:30 AM–5:30 PM, with rotating Saturdays 8:00 AM–4:00 PM.

**The Work**

You'll diagnose and repair Hyundai and Kia vehicles — advanced diagnostics, electrical and drivability troubleshooting, engine and transmission work, brakes, suspension, steering, and HVAC. Plus factory-recommended maintenance and multi-point inspections.

You'll work in CDK, document your findings clearly for the service advisors, and use current scan tools and factory repair information. If you want hybrid and EV work, we have it — Ioniq, Tucson Hybrid, Sportage Hybrid, and EV6 all come through this shop.

**What you need:**

- 3+ years of automotive repair experience as a technician, service technician, diagnostic technician, or mechanic
- Solid diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with import vehicles
- Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record

**What helps:**

- Hyundai or Kia dealership experience and factory certification
- ASE certifications — A-series or Master
- Virginia State Inspection license
- ADAS calibration and hybrid/EV experience
- CDK experience
