## Description

**Your Role**

Lead by example and help drive the success of the bakery every day.

Known for our iconic freshly baked pretzels, Auntie Anne's delivers crave-worthy treats that make everyday moments better. We're looking for reliable, hardworking Assistant Managers who take pride in leading teams, supporting operations, and delivering exceptional guest experiences every shift.

As an Assistant Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting store performance, maintaining operational standards, developing team members, and ensuring every guest receives outstanding service. You'll work closely with the General Manager to help lead the team, drive results, and create a positive, accountable workplace culture. **What You'll Do**

- Welcome every guest with friendly, energetic, and professional service
- Assist in leading daily operations and provide direction, coaching, and support to team members
- Prepare, bake, and serve Auntie Anne's products according to brand recipes and quality standards
- Ensure operational, food safety, and guest service standards are consistently met
- Consistently deliver accurate orders and a positive guest experience
- Operate registers and handle cash, payments, and transactions responsibly and accurately
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, inventory management, cash accountability, and shift execution
- Help monitor productivity, labor, and overall store performance
- Address guest concerns professionally and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Support hiring, onboarding, training, and development of team members
- Maintain a clean, stocked, organized, and food-safe environment throughout your shift
- Arrive on time, in proper uniform, and ready to work at the start of every scheduled shift
- Maintain reliable attendance and follow established call-out and scheduling procedures
- Plan ahead for transportation, traffic, and parking to ensure timely arrival
- Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and follow through with strong attention to detail
- Support teammates during busy periods and work collaboratively to achieve store goals
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, loss prevention, and operational procedures
- Demonstrate accountability, professionalism, and a positive attitude in every aspect of the job
- Help create a culture of teamwork, reliability, and respect

**What We're Looking For**

- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Availability to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) each week
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Demonstrated commitment to punctuality, including arriving on time, prepared, and ready to begin work at the scheduled start of each shift
- Dependable attendance record with the ability to consistently meet scheduled shifts
- Ability to proactively communicate scheduling conflicts, emergencies, or absences in accordance with company policies
- Strong work ethic and commitment to being dependable, accountable, and team-oriented
- Ability to follow directions, procedures, and brand standards consistently
- TB clearance required (if applicable by location)
- 1-2 years of food service, restaurant, retail, or supervisory experience preferred
- Previous leadership, keyholder, shift management, or assistant management experience preferred
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and remain active throughout a shift
- Comfortable working in warm and cold environments, including around ovens, prep areas, and walk-in coolers
- Basic math skills and confidence using point-of-sale systems
- Ability to taste-test products as part of quality control processes
- Strong communication, teamwork, leadership, and guest service skills
- Food Handler Certification (current or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred
- Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and store technology systems
- Demonstrates honesty, accountability, reliability, and a willingness to learn and grow
