This position ensures the agency operates in accordance with applicable Idaho Department of Health and Welfare (IDHW) regulations, state and federal laws, and established policies and procedures. The Administrator provides operational oversight, supports quality assurance initiatives, maintains regulatory documentation, and ensures the agency’s administrative practices promote safe, effective, and compliant service delivery. **Primary Responsibilities** - **Agency Operations:** Oversee the agency’s day-to-day administrative functions and ensure operations align with applicable state and federal regulations. - **Regulatory Compliance:** Ensure compliance with IDHW requirements, including agency licensing, documentation, personnel qualifications, and applicable policies and procedures. - **Policy and Procedure Management:** Develop, implement, review, and update organizational policies and procedures at least annually and as regulatory or operational changes require. - **Quality Assurance:** Lead or coordinate annual compliance reviews, identify deficiencies, document findings, and implement corrective action plans to address areas of noncompliance. - **Organizational Oversight:** Maintain an accurate organizational chart identifying governing authority members, the Administrator, the Residential Habilitation Professional, and other employees with administrative responsibilities. - **Governance Support:** Work with the agency’s governing authority on organizational policies, administrative decisions, and compliance obligations. - **Documentation and Recordkeeping:** Maintain current records documenting the Administrator’s appointment and qualifications, organizational structure, policies, and compliance activities. - **Regulatory Communication:** Ensure required organizational documents and records are accessible to authorized IDHW representatives and that relevant agency leadership information remains current. - **Staff Oversight:** Provide administrative leadership and oversight to ensure employees understand and follow agency policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements. - **Continuous Improvement:** Monitor agency practices, identify compliance risks, and implement improvements to support consistent, high-quality service delivery. **Key Competencies** - Demonstrated ability to interpret and implement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. - Strong organizational, leadership, documentation, and communication skills. **Preferred Qualifications** - Master's Degree in Human Services, Healthcare Administration, Social Work, or related field. - Experience administering services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. - Familiarity with Idaho Department of Health and Welfare regulations and IDAPA requirements. -
