The Pratt & Whitney Quality & Process Engineering (Q&PE) organization is seeking an energetic, entry level contributor to support the East Hartford Q&PE Core Laboratory Group. The Q&PE Core Laboratory Group is responsible for chemical, mechanical, and metallurgical testing for validation to blueprint and specification requirements of various aerospace raw materials and finished parts. ## What You Will Do - Perform metallurgical analyses related to the evaluation of aerospace materials for compliance to standards. - Provide clear, concise, and accurate lab reports. - Interact effectively with customers at all levels. ## Qualifications You Must Have - Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or other Engineering degree with minor in Metallurgy or Materials Science ## Qualifications We Prefer - Prior metallurgical laboratory experience, and understanding of lab protocols is a plus. - Prior RTX internship, co-op or work experience - Minimum 3.0 GPA **What We Offer** - Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
